I like to set people, teams and entire organisations in motion! Preferably on difficult issues. For example, issues relating to more effective collaboration, taking responsibility in a complex environment or creating a working environment that stimulates innovation. I also enjoy the combination of working on the issue and gaining results whilst simultaneously uncovering and breaking existing patterns.
A vital part of my approach for organisations, teams and individuals is that people take responsibility and that momentum and development can only be realised through both reflection and experimentation. I focus on finding new ways to do things in the here and now. By reflecting on everyday practice, I make experiences tangible and bring subconscious patterns to light. By using this approach to realise results and gain momentum, sustainable improvement is realised.
I open up all of my senses, experience them fully and share my perceptions. We then work together to achieve the desired results. We won’t spend too long looking back: it’s more about taking the path to the future, today. In my view, looking back and understanding why things are the way they are is no guarantee for growth, development and change.
